Eight years of one Beetle.

Craig has been restoring Mk3 Beetles for over eight years — long enough to know which parts fail, which ones are already hard to find, and which supposedly identical components quietly are not.

BeetleBits exists because the Mk3 sits in an awkward gap. It is too new to interest the classic trade and too old for a main dealer to care much, so owners end up guessing. We only work on this one generation, which means we can answer the question properly rather than approximately.

Every part we sell comes off a car we have stripped ourselves. We photograph it, record the number stamped on it, and note what it came from — so you can match it against your own car instead of hoping.

Cars come through the workshop too. Some are bought as non-runners and rebuilt in the open, and you can follow the work — or claim the car — before it is finished.
